Cohoon recommends slipping athletic socks over your hands to create makeshift dusting mittens. This method works well on baseboards, blinds, lamps, bookshelves, and even houseplants—both real and artificial. The fabric's texture allows you to feel the surface, which is especially useful when cleaning delicate items like art pieces or decorative objects, according to Willatt.
Replacing Cleaning Cloths
